Mr. Manoj Satia

Founder, Manoj Multifoods Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Manoj Satia began his professional journey with LT Foods Ltd., where he worked with the renowned "Daawat" brand. In this role, he was responsible for driving sales and leading business development initiatives for both domestic and international markets. During this period, Mr. Satia played a pivotal role in establishing a comprehensive food sourcing chain, covering every aspect from the origin of the produce to processing, distribution, and marketing. This achievement was possible due to his in-depth understanding of the entire value chain.

His dedication and expertise led to his elevation to the position of Vice President, where he took charge of end-to-end business operations. Under his leadership, LT Foods Ltd. experienced remarkable growth and expansion.

In 2002, Mr. Satia founded his own business from the Mumbai APMC market, initially operating as a proprietor under the name Multifoods. By 2004, this venture evolved into Manoj Multifoods Pvt. Ltd. His entrepreneurial efforts were focused on the credit and delivery business of agricultural commodity products. He effectively managed a range of sales channels, including General Trade, Modern Trade, Standalone Modern Trade, Gourmet Stores & Key Accounts. Today MMF is a proud partner of 10+ brands building bridges between the brands & end consumers through its vast network of channel partners.

Mr. Manoj Satia's core expertise lies in domestic sales, distribution and marketing management. His extensive knowledge is supported by broad experience in supply chain operations and business development within the agricultural and FMCG sectors.

Key Achievements:

  • Appointed over 200+ distributors for Daawat across India, many of whom continue to contribute to the brand's success today.
  • Pioneered the conceptualisation and execution of Buy One Get One Free (BOGO) offers in the highly commoditised rice industry for Daawat Super, It turned out to be a game changer & was instrumental in building Daawat into a leading super brand of Basmati rice.
  • Successfully launched a 10 kg pack of a regional rice variety named Allora Kolam Rice, marking another significant step in making regional varieties available in 10 kg packs that were earlier available only in 25 kg & higher packs.
